Everyone knows a nice bike ride can be romantic, but when it comes to cycling and speed dating it’s the perfect match. Cycle Speed Dating brings together like-minded people and a leisurely activity for a fun, offline and alfresco evening.
The series of speed dating events will be launching as part of the 2017 Bristol Cycle Festival, which boasts a programme full of bicycle based brilliance, kicking-off on September 16th.
Cycle the City is an independent business, which has been running popular cycle tours since they set up shop in 2012. Earlier this year Cycle the City ran a sell-out tour, Women of Bristol, to mark International Women’s Day, which is also be making a return for as part of the cycle festival.
The two-wheeled dating experience is for men looking to date women, and women looking to date men. Participants will be welcomed along to Queen Square, where they will be fitted up with a bike and bevy before being given a few minutes of quality ride time with fellow vélo daters. Guests will then get to decide whether they’ve found someone who grinds their gears, or rings their bell!
Holly, who’s hosting the evening said,
‘This promises to be the bicycle dating event of the year! If you’re single, looking for a partner and can ride a bike, we hope this will be for you!’
The first Cycle Speed Dating evening kicks off on September 21st and if you want to take part you’ll need to head over to Cycle the City’s website to book Spaces are limited.
