Children aged 7-12 who can already ride a bike can improve their bike handling skills during a course being offered at the Bristol Family Cycling Centre.
The course will run on six Saturday mornings during February and March.
The cost of all six sessions is £30, payable at the start of the first session (cash payments only please). Children eligible for free school meals are £15.
These sessions provide a fun way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and aim to improve bike handling skills. They are led by British Cycling-qualified cycling coaches and run on the Centre’s traffic-free tracks.
The sessions cater for a range of abilities, from children who are competent young cyclists who want to practise basic bike handling skills to more experienced riders who are interested in developing the skills they need to take part in their first race.
