Are you a business looking to provide more cycle facilities for your employees? Or maybe a community venue who would like to offer visitors somewhere to park their bikes. If so then an offer from North Somerset Council could be for you.
Thanks to funding from the Department for Transport Access Fund for Sustainable Travel, the council is offering local organisations the chance to claim free cycle stands.
Organisations can apply to the council’s sustainable travel team for up to five stands.
The offer is open to businesses, schools, leisure facilities, churches and other places of worship, and other amenities used by members of the public.
Each stand is suitable for two bikes and is compatible with D-locks as well as cable locks. Stands are provided with base plated fixings or as standard root fixings.
Applicants are responsible for collection, installation and associated costs. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 21 February 2018.
