Batheaston Bridge is a new shared cycleway / footpath on the south bank of the River Avon, completed in June 2014.

It connects the centre of Batheaston to Mill Lane and improve  access to Bathampton and Bath, via National Cycle Route 4. along the Kennet & Avon towpath.

From the village take the footbridge over the river, and then a 3 metre wide path follows the river across the fields to Mill Lane.

The project has been partially funded through the Department for Transport’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund, and has been supported by the Batheaston Parish Council.
