Frequently asked questions

Yes. We have a large range of inclusive wheels for all cycles available, including trikes, recumbents, two-seater bikes, hand cycles and a platform wheelchair-accessible bike. These speciality cycles are available for anyone who needs them during all of our cycling sessions.

We also have two-wheeled bikes for adults and children, as well as balance bikes, trailers, bike seats and tag-alongs.

There is no charge for using our cycles but at extremely busy times people may need to share. If you do bring your own bike you are still welcome to try ours.

No, we do not sell any cycles or bike parts.

We have a fleet of cycles for hire during sessions on our site only.

Although they are not required, we do recommend that you bring your own helmets. We are unable to provide these for you at this time.

For some of our courses, yes. For our Bikeability courses; Bikeability Balance, Learn to Ride, Learn to Ride Next Steps, Level 1 and Level 2. You’ll need to pre-book via our Webform link for each event. See What’s On we will confirm place via email.

You will no longer need to book for the following sessions; Rock Up and Ride, Disability, Family Cycling and Family Disability.

Yes, we have trailers, small balance bikes and child seats.

We stay open unless the instructors think conditions are not conducive to cycling (thunder, ice, very heavy downpours). If we have to close the Centre for bad weather, we will put a notice on our Facebook page.

Running is not allowed during our cycle sessions.

We do not allow dogs on site (with the exception of Guide dogs and Assistance dogs).

Yes, we have different offers available for hire depending on your needs. We can organise cycling birthday parties, private group sessions with our instructors and cycles available and even just use the track or upper courts.

We have an entry fee for everyone. It’s £5 for each child and £5 for each accompanying adult, £7 for a lone adult (a group of adults count as lone adults), £7 for disabled adult, £5 for disabled child and carers go free!

We also have Pre Payment Cards which will save you money!

We have two types of Pre Payment Cards, Family and Adult cards.

Family cards cost £48 and have 12 punches (one punch per person). This saves you £12 in comparison to 12 entries for a child and accompanying adult without this card.

Adult cards cost £24 and have 4 punches. This saves you £4 in comparison to 4 entries without this card.
