Bikeability Levels

Bikeability Level 1 courses are taught on our traffic-free Bristol Cycling Centre track. Level 2 and Level 3 are conducted, with close supervision by our instructors, on quiet roads near the Bristol Cycling Centre.

Bikeability Level 1 – 7+

Bikeability Level 1 is a 2 hour course for children 7+ who can cycle independently and are ready to develop their cycling knowledge and practical skills. Our courses are led by our trained instructors, twice monthly with extra availability during school holidays.

Bikeability Level 2 – 9+

Bikeability Level 2 is a 2 and a half hour course for children 9+ who can cycle independently and are ready to get guided on road experience to develop cycling skills. Our courses are led by our trained instructors and will include guided on road cycling.

Bikeability Level 3

Bikeability Level 3 is designed to ensure cyclists are able to manage all traffic conditions including busy roads, roundabouts and route planning. For ages 11+ (Year 7 onwards)

Cycle superheroes

This is a session run in partnership with Bristol Bike Project where students learn cycling techniques and develop bike maintenance skills in a supportive, small group.
