Bristol City Council is encouraging residents, workplaces, schools and community groups to get involved in Cycle September, a free, month-long celebration of biking that kicks off on 1st September 2025.
Cycle September is all about helping more people discover the joy of riding – whether it’s to work, to the shops or simply for fun. The challenge is open to everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level.
Participation is simple. People are encouraged to ride throughout the month of {challenge month}. All rides count – whether it’s a short trip to the shops, a daily commute or a weekend adventure – and there are local, national and industry leaderboards with great prizes to be won.
Registration is quick and free. Participants can ride solo or as part of a workplace, school or community group.
