Bristol Cycling Centre in Hengrove is hosting a cycling celebration between 9.45am and 4pm each day from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 July 2025.

The three-day event is for all the family and will feature a series of cycling sessions and activities that will help riders to gain confidence while having fun.

From cycling games and learn to ride classes to inclusive cycling sessions an obstacle course and family cycling sessions, there are plenty of activities to choose from.

On top of this there will be bubble wand workshops, face painting, synchronised cycling, Dr Bike repairs and more.

The Bristol Bike Project will be offering free simple bike servicing and easy fix repairs on Saturday 26 July. They can offer advice if more extensive repairs are needed to get bikes back to working order. A session can be booked by emailing cyclingcentre@bristol.gov.uk or they can be signed up for on the day, but the sessions are expected to book up quickly.

Put a date in the diary for our summer celebration of cycling, which is a great way to start the school summer holidays. This family-friendly event will also have a bake sale on Sunday 26 July, a smoothie bike available each day, and everyone is welcome to bring a picnic. So, do come along and join in the fun.
