If you would like to build your confidence riding a bike in a safe off road facility, there are several charities and organisations locally who can help.
The following centres offer cycle training for people with learning and physical difficulties.
Bristol Cycling Centre
A welcoming and inclusive centre open 7 days a week. Suitable for people of all ages and abilities. With a range of inclusive cycles, everyone has the chance to enjoy cycling in a safe and traffic-free environment.
Wheels for All – Bath
An inclusive programme enabling disabled and non-disabled children and adults, with a wide range of social, emotional, physical and learning requirements, to engage in and enjoy cycling.
Strawberry Line Cycles
Strawberry Line Cycle Project started in 2020 as a not-for-profit community cycle hire. Helping people to be able to get outdoors and active, exploring the Strawberry Line. Offering people with learning disabilities a chance to get meaningful work and vocational training.
Warmley wheelers – South Glos
Warmley Wheelers, run by Milestones Trust, is a cycling scheme that gives everyone the chance to get into cycling.
